One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Parent societies are a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. About Our Parent Society
Our school parent society is known as the Ethel M. Johnson Fundraising Society.
Meeting Schedule
Parent society meetings start after the School Council meetings, which start at 6:00 PM, in the EMJ staff room. They are every second Tuesday in the month. See our school Calendar for dates.
Events
We organize EMJ's biggest fundraising event every 12-18 months, the casino fundraiser, and other smaller events. Event information is usually shared in Fundraisers & Donations.
