This week our grade 2 and 3 classes went to Fish Creek Park for some learning on the land. The weather cooperated and allowed for a lot of exploring and fun. They were able to do sketching, sound mapping and lots of walking while they learned about living systems.
Our Lost and Found items are on tables by the front office. All students will have time to look through the items next week. If you are coming in to pick up your child, please be sure to take a look to see if you find any of the items your child has lost.
Next week is our last week of school which will be packed with learning and fun activities. On Wednesday we will be having our Grade Six Farewell. Our School Council has provided funds for our student to go to Activate in the morning. The afternoon will be an assembly to celebrate our grade six students and their move to Junior High. Families are welcome to join and are encouraged to come at 1:00pm.
On Thursday we will be having a Farewell Assembly for all students and then our annual Activity Day. All students will be invited to participate in a bunch of activities run by teachers and volunteers. We hope for good weather and fun times.
We would like to send out a huge thank you to everyone who volunteered for us this year. Without the support of our parent and guardian community, we aren't able to do many of the things we want to do for our students. The learning opportunities and fun that we have had are because of you. Our students and staff are so grateful.
